OHES won quick recall. Go Bulldogs! 🐾
🏆 We wanted to take time to recognize former OHES student, current WCMS student Hunter Stevens "Big Red" (WCHS football player as well) for helping us unload cars this morning. Mr. Earl, Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Hylton were thankful for the extra hands on this cold day! We love to see students who are still serving with heart!❤️

📚 January Reading Challenge is Here! 📚
We’re excited to kick off our January Beanstack Reading Challenge and encourage our students to make reading a daily habit—at school and at home!
✨ How it works:
• Grades K–2: The class in each grade with the most total minutes read will earn a Library Lunch
• Grades 3–5: The top 5 readers in each grade (by minutes read) will earn a Library Lunch
Reading just a little each day helps build vocabulary, comprehension, confidence, and a lifelong love of books. Families can help by encouraging nightly reading and logging minutes in Beanstack. Every minute counts!
Let’s work together to make January a month full of stories, imagination, and strong readers 📖💙
If you haven't already, be sure to download the Beanstack app on a device at home so students can log their reading outside of school as well!
