✨🎄 A Huge THANK YOU to Our PTO Dream Team! 🎄✨ Our Brunch of Cheer was an absolute hit, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible crew who poured their time, talents, and hearts into making it magical! 🥞 Duvall & Moore Funeral Home went above and beyond providing (and cooking!) the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted — plus the delicious meat that kept everyone coming back for seconds! 🎈 Events by Beck made our Grinch backdrop come to life with the most fabulous balloon arch. It set the perfect stage for all the festive fun! 📸 Taelyn Kilgore Photography absolutely rocked the Santa Photo Studio. The pictures are precious memories families will treasure! 🎅 Blake Stevens, our #1 Santa doppelgänger, was truly the star of the show. We couldn’t have made this event happen without him! 💚 And major S/O to Mary Webb and Allison Stevens for sleighing (literally 😄) the Grinch costume and bringing that mischievous personality to life! We collected over 50 letters for Santa to take back with him, completely sold out of our Holiday Specs, and our beautiful PTO Christmas tree has officially found a new home. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended, donated, and cheered us on. 🎅 OHES Santa Shop Opens Monday! 🎄December 1–5 Students can shop for family and friends, and every item is $2 or less. ✨ White Table Deal: Everything is $1, and the mini Jesus figurines are 2 for $1. We’ve stocked the shop with something for everyone on your child’s Christmas list, including: • Car diffusers • Men’s cologne • Wallets • Baby books & teethers • Shower steamers • LCD doodling tablets • Holiday tumblers • Fuzzy socks • Nail polish • …and much more! If your kiddos are getting a little stir crazy at home, give them some extra chores to help them earn spending money for the Santa Shop! 🎁 We can’t wait to see their excited faces as they pick out gifts for the people they love!

We had a wonderful time welcoming parents and guardians into the school for our 3rd Grade Habitat Showcase on Friday! Our third graders proudly shared what they learned about animal habitats, how animals survive in different environments, how to use technology to support their research, and how to communicate their findings through clear and organized writing. #ohesbulldogpride

🦎 Calling all 3rd Grade Parents: Just a reminder that our Habitat Showcase of Student Learning is tomorrow at 9 am! Come out and celebrate in their hardwork. 🐆

🎄 Our PTO is excited to spread some holiday cheer to a home like yours. Papers will come home Friday with students for those who would like to donate for an opportunity to take this beautiful tree home. All students, families, and community members can get in on the fun. We would like to thank Duvall and Moore for the custom tree! 🎄

Carter County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay for Tuesday November 11, 2025.

NTI Materials are being sent home with students today, just to ensure that materials are accessible in the upcoming months.
How NTI Days Work
If the district announces an NTI Day, students will complete the assignments labeled for that specific day (e.g., NTI Day 1, NTI Day 2, etc.).
Teachers will be available to assist students during the day through the communication methods outlined by the school (email, Apptegy (CCSD app), etc.).
When school resumes, students should return the completed work for the designated NTI day (for example, return NTI Day 1 work after NTI Day 1 is used).
Turning in completed NTI assignments is how students receive participation credit for that day.
Thank you for helping us be proactive and prepared. Keeping these materials organized and accessible will make the transition to an NTI day smooth and successful for everyone.

🦃We had so much fun yesterday, we want to make sure you mark your calendars for the next big event! our "Balloons over OHES" parade will take place on November 21st. Students will be showcasing their work and skills across a variety of subject areas. Think Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but only better!
