✨ Exciting Partnership at Olive Hill Elementary! ✨
Olive Hill Elementary School is thrilled to partner with Morehead State University’s Teaching Program! Dr. Nettleton’s students will be working alongside our special education teachers, gaining first-hand experience in our classrooms while assisting, learning, and—most importantly—building meaningful relationships with our students.
This collaboration provides invaluable real-world learning for future educators and extra support for our students, creating a true win-win. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and excited for all that it will bring!
Our OHES special education teachers are eager for this collaboration and excited to be back in session! 🎉📚

📝Tomorrow will be NTI Day #9. Hopefully, we are one day closer to reuniting the Bulldog Family! Teachers will be available during the day tomorrow and will be reaching out. We sure hope to see you soon!

Due to the weather system that has moved in and the projected temperature for Saturday, our District Academic Competition will be postponed. An updated schedule will be sent out to academic team students and families at a later time. The competition may need to occur over a few evenings, but will be determined after the inclement weather has cleared.

❄️ Do you want to build a snowman?... Since today is a Traditional Snow Day and tomorrow will be as well, we are excited to know what you are into. Feel free to post a picture on our Facebook thread, or send a photo to your teacher(s) via Apptegy (CCSD Connect) or through email. We miss seeing you Bulldog Family! 🐾

⛸️ Mrs. Minor said, "If you can't beat them, join them!". Tomorrow is another Traditional Snow Day. Stay safe and warm, Bulldog families! 🧊

❄️📚 SNOW DAY STATUS: STILL SNOWED IN 📚❄️
If we’re going to be stuck inside anyway, we might as well travel by book.
February’s Beanstack Reading Challenge is the perfect way to turn snow days into read-a-thon days. Grab a blanket, grab a snack, grab a book—and log those minutes!
Let’s see how many pages our school can conquer before we finally see the inside of the building again ⛄️👀
Winners from January’s Challenge will be announced as soon as Mrs. Stevens can access her teacher account on her library computer (unfortunately she doesn’t have access to this on her phone)
