We had an outlet that was experiencing malfunction. The Olive Hill Fire Department was dispatched and ensured that things were handled properly. Thank you for fast response from teachers, custodians, the OHFD, and our maintenance department. Safety is our top priority, and we are thankful for all those responding.

We had over 150 students register on Day 1 — WOW!! 🎉 The first 120 students who registered yesterday went home with prizes today! 🏆 Way to go, readers! If you haven’t registered yet — don’t worry! 🧈Today was a Pioneer type of day for our second grade students! Today was a student showcase of some of their work in learning about settlers in history. They demonstrated the use of lanterns, churning butter, and "packing the wagon". Way to go students! Thank you to our families for coming out, and thank you to our amazing second grade team! 🐾

💯 Days of Learning really made us standout! Celebrating the 100th Day of School was a blast with all of you today!

⭐️We have some special days coming up and wanted to make sure that you had time to plan ahead. ⭐️

🚸 Thanks for a great week Bulldog Family! We have just a few things to highlight as we look ahead at next week's new schedule. 🚦We are extending our day by 20 minutes. This means dismissal will now begin at 3:20. (It was 3:00 prior) School starts at the same time. ⚠️ Increase safety for our school campus and the surrounding area by arriving as closely to 3:20 for pickups as possible. If you swing by closer to 3:30, you can just about drive straight through. ❌️ Be cautious not to block or impede traffic flow by lining up on the shoulder headed towards the gas station. 🐾 Know that transportation should run pretty smoothly but there could be a few challenges to work through as we adjust. Thank you for your flexibility and patience as we work hard to finish our school year strong!

These students have been cashing in those hard earned Bulldog Bucks (for consistently meeting the 3 Rs). They cashed them in for two activities this week!
