Carter County Schools will operate on a one-hour delay tomorrow (Wednesday Dec. 3) morning. This extra time will allow for more daylight so our drivers can clearly see the roads and ensure everyone arrives safely.
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we try to make decisions that prioritize student and staff safety.
It is our hope to see everyone back at school tomorrow with their NTI Day 1 work completed and ready to learn!!

The West Carter E-sports team will hold a Super Smash Bros. Tournament at West Carter High School on November 22nd at 5:00pm.
During this event there will be 2 tournaments, one tournament will be free & is for kids 12 and under, the other tournament will be for everyone and will be paid entry of $5, where you will receive a ticket and the first place winner will split a pot of the fundraised money. The free 12 and younger tournament will be held in the library; the paid entry tournament will be held in the cafeteria.

Congratulations to the WCHS Lady Comets on a great season finishing strong deep into the 16th Regional Tournament.
Also, congratulations to goal keeper Sydney Cecil and midfielder Ryleigh Humphries for making the All Regional Tournament Team! They were recognized this past Saturday following the girls championship game.
Congratulations to Sydney Cecil for breaking over 500 career saves this season. That is an amazing accomplishment!! Way to go girls!
