INCLUSION WEEK ACTIVITIES: OCTOBER 27TH-31ST
•Action through Art: Start on Monday, turn in all art projects by Friday morning to be judged and win prizes! Concept, what is inclusion, what is kindness, what is acceptance, what is diversity, what do these things mean to you? Show it through art, drawings, paintings, poetry, short stories, etc.
•Scavenger Hunt: Stations will be set up throughout the school on poster boards in the hallways on Tuesday. Pick up a work sheet in the FMD classroom and fill out the worksheet based on the information from the poster board stations, turn in by Friday morning. Stations have information about different disabilities. Completed works sheets will have your name put in for a prize drawing at the end of the week.
•Walking in Someone Else’s Shoes: Work sheet activity located in the FMD classroom, pick up a work sheet on Wednesday, fill it out and turn it in by Friday morning to have your name put in for a prize drawing at the end of the week! Work sheets have questions about empathy of walking in another person’s shoes.
•Trick-or-Treat on Friday: Stop by the FMD classroom in between classes to meet and greet with our students and get candy!
•Take the Pledge: Sign our banner and take the pledge to end the use of the R word and to become a fully inclusive school! Let’s accept our differences and show kindness and acceptance toward those with disabilities. Every Voice Matters! The poster will be set up during lunch every day that week to gain signatures.
•Boo Grams: Will be sold during lunch in the cafeteria during Inclusion Week to raise money for Inclusion Week Activities.
•Daily Inspirational Quotes: Announced during the morning announcements every day during Inclusion Week.
•Social Media Takeover: FMD students and staff help the multimedia students with the news that week!
•Costume Parade: Friday celebrate Inclusion Week with dressing in costumes and doing our costume parade to Halloween music. Announce the winners of the week’s activities for prizes, plus a winner for best costume!
•PRIZES: Consist of buckets of candy with Bluetooth earbuds and a gift card!!

Lifetouch will send a proof packet to the address we have on file at the school if any family would like to purchase Senior Portrait pictures at a later date. The Picture day schedule will be placed on the Library windows starting Monday morning.
Lifetouch will be providing the "tux" and "dress" for seniors to wear. For the "tux" attire please wear a t-shirt, and for the "dress" attire it is recommended to wear a tank-top for ease of change
