Distinguished Scholars recognized that these values are necessary to meet the school district’s vision to Collaborate, Achieve, and Relate, in order To Exemplify Readiness for college or a career.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
The Distinguished Scholar Award is an annual award presented to students who demonstrate academic achievement by combining their GPA throughout the curriculum with standardized KPREP and/or ACT test scores.

 

CITIZENSHIP
Distinguished Scholars are honorable, respectful, and responsible.

 

COMMITMENT
Distinguished Scholars recognize that attendance is essential to academic success.

 

INVOLVEMENT
Distinguished Scholars are involved in their community in a variety of programs that may include participation in athletics,

community and school clubs, serving others or performing community service.
