We were honored to welcome 2008 East Carter graduate Jarod Lewis back to campus today. Jarod shared his experiences working with the New York City Ballet, where he manages a talented team responsible for creating some of the stunning costumes featured in the company's productions.
He also presented a book showcasing some of these incredible costumes. We are grateful to Jarod for taking the time to visit with us to inspire East Carter students to dream big!


Congratulations and best of luck to Bella Elliott and Eli Harper! Bella earned 3rd place in Written Composition at Regionals and Eli placed 4th in Social Studies. Both students will advance to State Competition on March 21st in their respective categories. In addition, Eli will also be competing in Individual Quick Recall at State.
We are so proud of their accomplishments and can't wait to see them shine at State--good luck, Bella and Eli! 🥳🥳

Congratulations to our ECHS Y-Club chapter on an incredible showing at KUNA! Our students earned a Premier Delegation Award and the Outstanding World Expo Display Award, an honor voted on by the other schools in attendance.
We would also like to recognize Dylan Wilcox for receiving the Outstanding Ambassador Award.
We are so proud of our students for representing ECHS so well!






The student y-club is currently at Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) in Louisville representing Mexico. This conference allows our students to gain experience in global citizenship. Our students Rylan Raybourn, Karson Freize, and Rykker Sites spoke today to see if their resolution will pass to the Secretary General. Their resolution talks about strengthening waste control for cleaner waterways in Mexico.
Students Blayne Boggs and Mattaline Joleigh Yanik are door keepers.
Kendall Kinney and Dylan Wilcox prepared and presented a trifold and table representing Mexico at the World Expo.

Each month, students from our school volunteer at the Community Food Pantry at FCC Grayson. By helping local families, they learn the value of giving back, develop empathy, and gain a deeper understanding of the needs within our community.










Mrs. Tiller’s AP Biology classes were observing the functions of enzymes within plant and animals cells. They were also comparing organic and inorganic enzymes.







All students that ride the bus from the beginning of Robert and Mary at All that Blooms to Grayson Sports Park including Dixie park and Rupert Lane will need to be picked up from school. Please call the school if you need to make alternate arrangements. Thank you!

Today, our student council—along with a group of student volunteers—sampled potential new cafeteria menu items and provided feedback to help bring better choices to our lunchroom.
